Great Plates Delivered: Home Meals for Seniors

Program for individuals at high risk due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Approved restaurants will be reimbursed by the State of California for delivering up to three meals a day to senior citizens.

Federal Loan Assistance

SBA Disaster Assistance Loan

(Economic Injury Disaster Loan)

  • This loan includes a $10,000 emergency grant that is not required to be repaid as long as stipulations are adhered to.  Funds are made available within three days of an approved application.
  • Low interest loans (3.75%) up to $2 million with a 30 year repayment option.
  • Loan applications assistance is provided free of charge by the SBA, SBDC, and CVWBC through the contacts above.
  • Loan processing time of 2-4 weeks.

This program is for businesses that have existing SBA loans to quickly borrow up to $25,000.

The Paycheck Protection Program provides small businesses with funds to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits, can be used to pay interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities.Learn More

State of California Assistance

CA Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (IBank) Finance Program

The State of California is allocating $50 million to the Small Business Finance Center at California’s IBank to mitigate barriers to capital for those small businesses (1-750 employees) that may not qualify for federal funds (including businesses in low-wealth and immigrant communities). The $50 million allocation will be used to recapitalize the IBank Small Business Loan Guarantee Program. COVID19loan@ibank.ca.gov

Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)

This is a newly available emergency unemployment assistance program under the federal CARES Act.  PUA provides assistance for unemployed or partially unemployed individuals who are not eligible for regular unemployment insurance and who are unable or unavailable to work due to COVID-19 related circumstances.

CA Disaster Relief Loan Guarantee Program

This disaster program provides guarantees for loans of up to $50,000 for small business borrowers in declared disaster areas.

California Capital Access Program (CalCAP)

(1-500 employees) CalCAP is a loan loss reserve program which may provide up to 100% coverage on losses as a result of certain loan defaults. Individual borrowers are limited to a maximum of $2.5 million enrolled over a 3-year period.

The United States Chamber of Commerce Guide to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act

The Coronavirus Air, Relief, and Economic Securities (CARES) Act allocates $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses who maintain their payroll during this emergency. In some cases, borrowers are eligible to have their loans forgiven.
